Since 2019, EmVision Capital Advisors has been supporting Believe In Dreams, a local nonprofit that works to fulfill dreams of youth who are economically disadvantaged and have survived non-medical adversity by providing access to enriching opportunities, connection to community and hope for the future.

A Night of Dreams

A Night of Dreams is Believe in Dreams’ largest fundraising event. It’s held annually to raise awareness and essential funds for the organization. The year’s event was on Saturday, May 11 at Sapphire Creek Winery and Gardens. It featured delicious cuisine, cocktails, music, and both live and silent auctions.

“Unfortunately, our team was unable to attend this year's event, but our support to the organization and its mission remains,” said Michael Embrescia, president and CEO, EmVision Capital Advisors. “In lieu of attending, we supported the event by donating a stay at our family’s condo in Florida for the auction.”

This contribution, along with several other generous supporters, helped the event raise a total of $243,702, ensuring that Believe in Dreams can continue creating life-changing experiences for local youth. 

The Impact of Believe in Dreams

Founded in 2014 by Cleveland entrepreneur John DiJulius III and his son Cal, Believe in Dreams was born from John’s personal experiences. Overcoming humble beginnings with the support of family and community, John recognized the power of opportunity and resilience. The organization has since fulfilled over 500 individualized dream experiences for local youth, continuously expanding its reach each year.

Get Involved

If you are inspired by the work of Believe in Dreams and wish to contribute, there are many ways to get involved:

• Provide a dream experience through the Believe in Dreams Booster.
• Support a specific child’s dream through Direct to Dream.
• Be a dream granter by offering tickets, services, or shadowing experiences through your business or organization.
• Help with general program costs by making a donation.
• Volunteer or support at events.

“We’re honored to support organizations like Believe in Dreams that make a lasting impact on the lives of local youth,” said Michael. “We look forward to continuing our support for years to come and are excited to attend their annual golf outing Monday, July 15 at Barrington Country Club.”
