The EmVision Capital Advisors’ team recently participated in the Believe in Dreams’ 8th Annual Golf Outing at Barrington Golf Club in Aurora by sponsoring a foursome. The team teed off at 8:30 a.m. with 116 other supporters of this local nonprofit. 

This year's event included a full day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and heartfelt giving. As golfers showcased their skills, they knew that every swing contributed to something greater—the chance to make dreams come true for youth who are economically disadvantaged and have survived non-medical adversity. The outing included 18 holes, followed by cocktails, a dinner, live music from the band, Clock Tower, and an awards ceremony.  

This year a foursome from the EmVision team played a great round, finishing in second place!

“EmVision has been involved with Believe in Dreams for many years, and it continues to be an organization we are passionate about supporting,” said James Artale, Wealth Advisor, Chief Financial Officer and Partner. "We truly value what this organization stands for and the positive impact it creates."

Making an Impact 
This year’s event raised $130,000. All proceeds support the organization’s efforts to grant dreams for local youth who have endured adverse experiences that have left them with little hope or belief that their dreams were attainable. 

“It's great to see how the organization continues to attract and grow their network,” said James. "We have seen the impact it has had on the youth in our surrounding communities and look forward to being involved with Believe in Dreams for years to come.”    

A few of the Dreams in the Works right now include providing art supplies to students, baking classes, and a horseback camp experience. 

Interested in Getting Involved? 
You can help Believe in Dreams fulfill dreams for local youth by donating, supporting, and/or volunteering. 

• Provide a dream experience through the Believe in Dreams Booster. 
• Support a specific child’s dream through Direct to Dream.
• Be a dream granter and give tickets, services, or a shadowing experience through your local business or organization. 
• Help with general program costs by providing a donation. 
• Support and/or volunteer at events.
