In February, members of the EmVision Capital Advisors leadership team attended the AssetMark Gold Forum in Marco Island, Florida. The event brought together advisors from across the country for several days of education, collaboration, and forward-thinking discussion around the future of wealth management.
Conferences like this are more than a change of scenery. They are an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, gain perspective, and engage in meaningful conversations about how we continue to evolve in service of our clients.
The Gold Forum delivered timely insights on portfolio strategy, market outlook, practice innovation, and client experience. Sessions focused not just on where markets are today, but on how advisors can think proactively about risk management, personalization, and long-term wealth planning in an increasingly dynamic environment.
“Our responsibility is to stay ahead of change,” said Michael Embrescia, CEO and Founder, EmVision Capital Advisors. “Events like this allow us to pressure-test our thinking, refine our strategies, and make sure we’re delivering advice that’s both thoughtful and forward-looking.”
That mindset — continuous improvement — is core to how we operate at EmVision.
One of the greatest benefits of the conference was the opportunity to connect directly with AssetMark’s leadership team and fellow advisors. These conversations help us better leverage the resources, research, and platform capabilities available to support our clients.
“Strong partnerships make a difference,” Michael shared. “AssetMark continues to invest in tools, research, and education that allow us to elevate the work we do. Being in the room with their team and other high-caliber advisors reinforces that we’re aligned with the right partners.”
At EmVision, we believe we are better together. Our partnership with AssetMark enhances our ability to deliver customized portfolio solutions, access institutional-quality research, and maintain operational efficiency — all of which support the client experience.
While the setting in Marco Island was beautiful, the real value of the week was the insight gained and the relationships strengthened.
“We walked away with practical ideas we can implement immediately,” Johnathon Opet, COO, Partner, EmVision Capital Advisors, noted. “Whether it’s refining planning conversations or leveraging additional resources for portfolio oversight, these are tangible improvements that benefit the families we serve.”
Continuous education is not optional in our industry. It’s essential. Markets evolve. Technology advances. Client needs change. Our commitment is to evolve with them.
At EmVision, we take our role as your personal CFO seriously — not just managing investments, but helping you navigate decisions with clarity and confidence. Attending events like the AssetMark Gold Forum ensures we remain equipped with the latest insights, tools, and relationships necessary to guide you thoughtfully.
We’re grateful to AssetMark for hosting a meaningful and well-executed event, and for being a partner who shares our commitment to excellence.
As always, if you have questions about your portfolio, current market conditions, or long-term planning strategies, we welcome the conversation. Don't hesitate to reach out.
